Deaf Access Bedfordshire presents
Children's Author, Megan Rix
We are delighted to be partnering with Inclusive Performing Arts to support a full day of inclusive events, activites, workshops and performances as part of the week-long Bedfringe Theatre Festival.
Megan Rix is a locally loved member of our deaf community, as well as an internationally renowned children's author.
We are delighted that she is able to join us at the Inclusive Performing Arts day to talk about her 'Lizzie and Lucky' books. Megan says: I am really excited about these stories because Lizzie is deaf and wears hearing aids just like me! She and her family and friends use signing as their first language.

Megan's event at the Festival is for children aged 5+ (plus their important grown up!).
The session will be supported by a BSL interpreter plus Communication Support Volunteers from Deaf Access Bedfordshire.
